This little girl is 2 1/2 years old and very beautiful. I painted her from a photo in oils on a 14x11 canvas. The blush came out looking a little stronger in this picture than is in the painting. I painted this one alla prima (few hours one setting). This one was for my daughter's best friend which made it special to do. I sure had fun painting her.

This portrait is really pretty. The softness and the cheek blush are perfect for a little girl of this age. The eyes on this one are really good. Just lovely. Every facial feature is believable! Love it.
Thanks Vernita for such uplifting remarks. I love painting portraits and this is the youngest child I have painted. The little face seemed so pure and has smooth contours as compared to older models. Much appreciated.
