Flamingo Portrait, original acrylic painting

Sold

The Flamingo Portrait painting was finished yesterday.  It is painted on a 10 by 8 inch gallery wrapped canvas in acrylics.  I enjoyed this study  of the bird and how the flamingo compares to other birds in shape and color.  I like to paint bright and love to have striking shadows.  This contrast is essential to having a good painting.

I have another small format flamingo painting in progress which should be finished in a few days.

Viola Painting

I want to thank Chris for letting me use his viola for reference.  He is a wonderful Youth Minister, and Musician in our church, First Baptist in Bay City, Texas.

This is an original painting in acrylics of a Viola on a 24 x 12 inch canvas with edges also painted.  The canvas is cradled and ready to hang without a frame.

Contact me if you wish to purchase the original or a print of this painting.

God Bless You,
