Blue Heron on the Hunt is a 24 by 12 inch original acrylic painting on a gallery wrap canvas. The painting is of a Blue Heron at Matagorda, Texas on the inland waterway feeding in the shallows. These birds are very interesting to watch and are hard to get a good picture of them. A textured rocky shore line is in the painting using a pallet knife to give the painting a realistic effect.
