This is an original oil painting on a gallery stretched canvas. I painted a portrait version of this longhorn a few months ago and was wondering what it would have looked like if I had done it in a landscape with bluebonnets. Since the other painting sold, I figured that was enough incentive to paint him again in the landscape setting. I used both palette knife and brush to do the painting. I enjoyed painting him. I hope you like the way it came out. Sold
